Hi! We're the Chirches, a husband and wife duo dedicated to making a healing impact in the city of Milwaukee. We met in a yoga studio, lived above a yoga studio, and adopted our dog at a yoga studio, which is why yoga is one vessel we utilize to create change. While the physical movement of yoga is beneficial and a huge part of our practice, we also focus on incorporating mindfulness, breath work, and functional health practices into daily life to create long term change.
Right off of Milwaukee's Oak Leaf Trail, our space is surrounded by nature. Being what we always envisioned, the bright studio is filled with greenery, low key lighting, and as always, a lit, non-toxic Milwickee candle. With the studio's super chill & high quality vibe, we are committed to maintaining this space to allow you to continuously deepen your mental and physical wellness. We are proud to offer a full weekly schedule including morning, evening, and weekend classes.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to your first class to be positive the instructor can get you all signed up and settled. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle + yoga mat. You are welcome to walk in or register before hand.
We are not! Collective Flow is a non-heated studio, teaching all classes at room temperature.
If you're looking to freshen up after class, you can find face wash, body wipes, deodorant, dry shampoo, hair ties, tampons, and more in our bathroom/changing room.
You will receive a link for class 30 minutes prior to start time. This works best from a computer on Google Chrome. Log in 5-10 minutes before class to get all set up.
We lock our door prompt at the start of class. Please arrive 5 - 15 minutes early, as late arrivals will not be permitted to respect everyone's practice.

Instructor Lead + Instructor
Hello Collective Flow fam, I'm Emily! My yoga love story began when I moved away from my hometown, La Crosse, WI, for college in Madison, WI. I wandered into a yoga studio in search of consistency, a place to exercise, and stress reduction. Needless to say, I gained so much more from yoga than just those things! Eager to learn more and share the practice with others, I enrolled in a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Dragonfly Hot Yoga in 2018. I began to teach hot yoga classes there shortly after and continued until summer 2021.
After graduating from UW - Madison with a B.S. in Neurobiology and a certificate in Studio Art, I took some time to travel to Costa Rica to complete my 300-hour yoga teacher training. Now I am proud to be a 500-hour certified instructor! My class style is a creative and fun vinyasa with a healthy balance of movement and stillness. I honor that each person and each body is different - whether this is your first class or you've been practicing for years, feel welcome to join my class!
When I am not on my mat, you can find me at a local coffee shop or brewery, hanging out with friends and family, biking, or painting! I look forward to seeing you in class!

Studio Coordinator + Instructor
Katie Haws is a Yoga Instructor and Fiber Artist with seven years experience in both industries. As I started to seek balance for my mental health, yoga and art became creative outlets that introduced me to concepts of mindfulness. Through mindful and creative sequencing, I weave together accessible yoga classes that provide a full sensory experience for my students that allows room to safely explore their own practice deeper, on and off the mat. I strive to remain a student at heart and completed my 300 hour certification in December 2022!

Marketing Coordinator & Instructor
Hi, I'm Allison! My yoga journey started in middle school when my mom signed us up for an intro class series at the YMCA. Little did I know that first class would shape so much of who I am today. What began as a place to work out gradually became something so much deeper: my safe space to land, both physically and spiritually. I'm a proud 200-hour graduate of the Collective Flow Yoga Academy, and I bring my love of storytelling to my teaching style. Themed classes are a big passion of mine, and I believe every practice has the power to take you somewhere meaningful. Expect good energy, intentional movement, and a safe space to experience whatever you need in that moment.
When I'm not on my mat, you can find me exploring Milwaukee, traveling, reading, or finding any excuse to be creative. My day job is in consumer packaged goods marketing, a world built on finding the story inside a brand and making it resonate. That passion for narrative is what drew me to themed classes, and it's also what led me to my role as Marketing Coordinator here at Collective Flow. Getting to tell the story of this community from the inside, as both a teacher and a teammate, feels like the most natural thing in the world. I can't wait to flow with you!

In 2007, I wandered into a gym while living in Italy. Honestly, I just wanted a treadmill so I didn’t have to run on cobblestone, and instead, I experienced my first yoga class - taught in Italian. Weirdly enough, I felt liberated not being able to understand my teacher. Just like you, I’ve spent a considerable amount of my life obsessing about doing things perfectly. To my surprise, it was an incredible lesson in slowing down and learning how to give and accept compassion for myself and others. It was such a joyous surprise to enjoy being in my body more than in my head - something I have always enjoyed about dancing, running, swimming, and gymnastics.
So in 2012, I flew across the ocean to study and learn from Karin Kuhn and Nadia Toraman at the Maui Yoga Shala.
Since completing my 200hr yoga teacher training, I have been teaching Vinyasa-style yoga classes across Milwaukee offering what I consider a specialized vibe of “do your own thing” and “let’s see what’s possible”. Some days my students ask for guidance to practice challenging, seemingly mind-bending poses where they can get “lost” for a little while (let’s be honest, Beyonce might do all the work here). Some days, they need a space to feel seen, heard, and supported. Guess what - all of it is a part of yoga and I’m very excited to be offering it for the Collective Flow MKE community.
Let’s flow together!

Hi - I’m Alyssa - a 200 hour (Yama Yoga) certified yoga instructor and certified group fitness instructor. I’m here to help you meet yourself exactly where you are, one breath at a time. With a background in structural engineering and weightlifting, my analytical knowledge of the physical body helps me design classes to explore and elicit different sensations in the body. However, as a former professional actor and singer, my performance background also lends the ability to cultivate the experience with creativity, passion, emotion, and sensitivity.
I use both the analytical and creative sides of my brain to guide you through classes designed to encourage deep awareness, curiosity, introspection, and contentment. Most classes are themed and include meditation and breathwork. I hope to help you feel fully valid in your experience on this earth!

Hi, I’m Kaitlin—a vibrant, adventurous, and caring human who finds joy in nature, supporting my community, and practicing yoga! I obtained my 200 hr CYT in Jan 2025 through an immersive experience in Costa Rica, and returned feeling enlivened to share the transformative power of yoga with my community!
I enjoy teaching and practicing a variety of yoga styles, blending Eastern traditions, science, and functional medicine to create a holistic experience and cultivate love in the community. Hey y'all! My name is Alayna and I am originally from Alabama where I was born and raised. Yoga initially came into my life in 2020 as a way for me to manage my chronic back pain, though I never imagined it blossoming into my yoga love story and so much more mentally and emotionally. 5 years later, I earned my 200 hour yoga teacher training from Collective Flow Yoga Academy.
I am super devoted to cultivating spaces of deep connection, healing, and radical self-love in all that I do whether on the mat, in the studio, or in the classroom. My goal is to always invite each student into a deeper relationship with their own body and being by offering yoga as a liberatory tool for self-acceptance, empowerment, and collective healing.
Outside the yoga space, I am a visual artist, writer, photo educator and proud cat mama to my sweetie pie, Ms. Sweets Viola. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art (Photography) with a minor in African American Studies from The University of Alabama and an MFA in Photography from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Hi there, I’m Alli! I have been practicing daily yoga since 2020. I followed YouTube videos at home, and what began as a habit during the pandemic developed into a deep love for yoga.
My practice has always felt very personal to me, which I believe stems from it beginning in such an isolating time. For a long time, I only practiced at home by myself. Beginning in 2023, I began to branch out a bit more and seek out a community to practice with. I was incredibly fortunate to find an amazing yoga mentor in Boise, Idaho. Her monthly classes felt like pure bliss, and where I felt the first flickers of considering becoming a yoga instructor myself. I told my mentor before I left Idaho that I wanted to become an instructor someday, I just didn’t quite know when.
When I moved to Milwaukee in 2024, I wanted to find a more permanent yoga home. I was still practicing daily, but knew I needed to get out and make new friends in the city. Collective Flow was the first yoga studio I tried, and I instantly fell in love.
Fast forward to 2026, and I am a 200-hr RYT from the Collective Flow Yoga Academy with an incredible community of friends and supporters. I am beyond grateful to share my passion for yoga and its teachings with you, with a little dash of extra love and healing from Boise. I hope to encourage mindfulness and kindness to yourself and your body through my teaching, and that you feel the genuine care and commitment I put into each class. I am here for you!
When not practicing yoga, you’ll most likely find me outside. I am a huge nature lover who enjoys long walks outside, bird and bug identification, and sitting by Lake Michigan with a coffee in one hand and a book in the other.
